July IFOSS Meeting
Though the work that was made at the July 15th Inglewood Found Object Sculpture Society Meeting was amazing, the most exciting part was adding five new IFOSS Lifetime Members!

First neighborhood meeting of I.F.O.S.S. June 25th 2013
In Florida the HFOSS events were always at a library or school but we thought we'd try one at our house this time with friends and neighbors. Everyone involved had a good time and a lot of great art was made. After completing the workshop participants were given an I.F.O.S.S. lifetime membership card. One of my favorite pieces of the day was made in the grass and only temporary.

How it all began
In 2005 the Hastings Found Object Sculpture Society was born at a small rural library in Hastings, Florida. Thanks to the help of then librarian Sandy Sivulich and a small grant from Home Depot.
For 5 years and about 10 times a year I would gather junk and tools together and help kids and adults from our town and sometimes visitors from Jacksonville and Nashville.
My family and I have resettled in Nashville and I have missed facilitating these workshops so I approached the Inglewood Library(where I checked books out as a kid) and they were interested in trying it out. So I'm starting the Inglewood Found Object Sculpture Society.
We are in the process of planning our first open studio event.
